I enjoyed your story in a poem contest entry, YM. I like the light-heated, whimsical feel of it, but it still has the makings of a love story. I like the ending, too. Your rhymes, meter, and imagery are great. Thanks for sharing and best wishes.

This was like pure license to read an adult fairy tale (literally)--in verse and rhyme. I loved every word, the background color, the image selected, the love captured as though you picked a bushel of sparkling stars and shared them with us! I am enchanted that YOU are enchanted.--Karenina

I absolutely loved this. The only thing I can even think of to recommend is that in the part about the leaves in yonder tree, it would sound better as 'on yonder tree,' but still, this poem was very awesome.
