I love this poem! What depth of truth about the importance of tears. I like the consonance of precious and promise that really ties the first two lines together. Good luck with the contest.

This is a really nice poem. It's nice to think that the tears hold the promise that you will know true love again. While those tears are flowing, you think life is over and that there must be no one in the world to love you for real. Thanks for sharing your poem!
