God spoke in the beginning, "Let us make man in our likeness and image."
To become perfect like our Heavenly Father is all done by trial and error.
Jesus said, "Be perfect as the Father is perfect." Matthew 5.
Thanks for sharing.

As usual, your author notes provide an explicit guide to the reading and interpretation of your poem. However, in this case, I find the poem self-evident and sufficient unto itself. Error is part of what it is to be human. We should embrace it and learn from it. It is by trial and error that we edge in towards a state of enlightenment. A state, I hasten to add, that we will ever reach - it is always just over the next hill.

Oh yes indeed, if Adam and Eve hadn't of fallen, one wonders what could have been if they had not been tempted, I think the earth could have been what God meant it to be. But alas it wasn't to be. Well done, blessings Roy

A pretty good piece of poetry. I am curious about this book of poetry. True human wasn't perfect and would never be perfect unlike god. Thanks for sharing

To remind us that err is human and normal is a wonderful message that we sometimes need to hear. In a world surrounded by the premise that if over achieving is not a high enough goal, this work was a joy to read.

You had my attention from the first line to the last.
This is what I call a food for thought poem. Meaning after you read it you go hmmm.
thank you for sharing..

As nothing is nor ever will be perfect, its a wonder we keep the word around at all. This poem confronts that word and let's it know it isn't.

Hmm. Not sure I could wholeheartedly agree with you on this one, but you gave a good shot in your formatting scheme. Your message on God is the sort of 100% perfection since day one is something I'm sure the Christians and Muslims would love to hear and I'd be shooting myself in the foot if I asked a silly question "How do we really know?" Overall, good job and I'm enjoying your enthusiasm and courage to continuing on with your writing endeavors. Cheers.

The word 'wink' is satelliting around my grasp. I sense that it means either to understand, believe, or remember. How am I doing?

Wow. Nicely done. You perfectly chose your words. I must say that the picture and presentation added quite nicely to this well-written piece. Great.
