I like the message you bring up here - no man is perfect, and working on self-perfection is another story. People should live by by Bible and God's word, they should live right - to achieve self-perfection.

I will say your poem has quite a meaning for me.
When I make a mistake and other people know about it, I torture myself for making a mistake, and since I dwell on them, I can name nearly every one I made as a kid. Your reality check in your words puts things in perspective

The opening lines grabbed me. I think its a great, and very realistic, concept, this idea that our imperfections are at the core of the real world around us. If we were perfect, we wouldn't have to go through this big, struggle of a learning curve. estory

This is an introduction to your book basically talking about writing structures and also religion posting the fact that we are not perfect but God is.

since Day One. I wonder what God thinks of man, especially

A fascinating poem expressing some thoughts I have believed for a long time. Man is imperfect, and God alone is perfect, yet understands our weaknesses and tendency to err. Your illustration is perfect, however. I can't imagine how it could be any better for this poem. MM

Yes .god alone is perfect. If all of us are perfect the world would not work the way it is .there will not be problems and we wont be thinking of God.
