I think this is the best of these I've read. It's so descriptive and all the words not only work well together they sound like the belong along side each other. Each one adding it's own little bit

This poem paints a picture of wintery day with a supportive picturesque picture in the background. A day like that reminds me of hot chocolate and hot water bottles. Thank you for sharing and good luck in the contest. Stay safe.

Impressive writing, anonymous poet!
You have compiled an excellent assortment of attributes, alliteration, imagery, and metaphor (plus a striking illustration) that may well add up to a contest winner!

An ambient write filled with the chill of winter and the frosted scenes that look quaint but can bring with it a bitter biting wind, an atmospheric write, much enjoyed, love Dolly x

Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level

Ode To Winter: delicate as a touch of an artist's brush and masterfully described through the bursting force of the cold winds that arrive, bringing with it the blanket of white snow so that Mother Earth can regenerate and produce new fruits in spring.
Gorgeous! I love it!

You've written an excellent poem for the winter 5-7-5 ode.
We just finished with winter and I don't to see it return any time soon,
but your description is excellent.
Excellent picture to match.
Well done.
Good luck in the contest
Robert

Ok, I am confused.. is this prompt or a poem? Oh I guess it is a poem. I like the "quilt", cause it brings up tactile memories.

The rest leaves me cold.

Could you please explain what needs to be fixed? According to the FanStory rating system (given below), you have rated this 5-7-5 BELOW a rating that needs correction but you have not given any problems with the meeting of the writing prompt and the poem type. The fact that it leaves you cold and it's supposed to be about winter would mean that it was much better than an average rating, yes?? Please explain what needs correcting. Thank you.

The site offers a six star scale for ranking work. Here's a guideline:
    Six Stars (Exceptional: Simply Outstanding)

Five Stars (Excellent: Enjoyable and no revisions needed)
    Four Stars (Good: Adjustments needed)
    Three Stars (Below average)
Two Stars (Below Average: Needs lots of work)
One Star (Poor: Major revision required)
