Your contest entry is in great form, June. I enjoyed reading it. The art choice is a good pairing with your well-chosen words. Those words create great imagery for readers. I could see the ships, the broken bottles that become sea glass, and the tragedies that the ocean causes. Thanks for sharing and best wishes if this is still in the booth.

I pray you and your family are doing well. I love the photo you used for your beautiful poem. You met the poem requirement. I never did a Trinet poem before. I have to try this type of poem one day. I like the story of Neptune's victories on the seven seas. I'm sure there were many widows mourning many lost husbands who didn't return from the seas. I always enjoyed reading about Greek Mythology, especially the Greek God Poseidon. I would imagine seafarers were always looking for that gold. Nice story. Thanks for sharing. Good job. Happy writing:-)

This is an interesting view of the ocean. I suppose there are many treasures on the sea floor, and men will risk life and limb to get them. Those are real tragic treasures.
