I feel outraged! Not at the dastardly plot to steal, or the violence shown towards your gloating neighbour, but at the fact this wildly funny story had to share 2nd place behind a lesser offering when it showed a much more creative grasp of what writing is about.

This piece is an extremely amusing one, that flirts with the subject of writing. The moral I would take home is "forget about fiction, look for interesting snippets in your life and find a good voice to project them with."

Your story is so incredibly creative, I love it! The intriguing intro about the competitive neighbor pulled me in, the suspenseful nighttime mission, the violent battle (tackled me like a linebacker, love it)...I found myself rooting for you to steal that flash drive (it's so wrong, I know)!
