What a very nice gesture on your part for him. This could so easily be used in many situations. One to follow as you go through the alphabet. Keep them coming!

-Good artwork and story, Sandra,
along with the poem.
-I am learning a lot, too.
-When you mentioned the dinosaur
with spikes, it reminded me of
a great book of poems for kids
by Jack Prelutsky. I still remember
a little bit of one:
"Ankleasaursus was built like a tank
When he walked, clankety, clankety, clank!
-I liked the bit about he brain size
and the size of the eggs.
-Well done. I wonder what "E" will be?!

Thank you so much for another of your really lovely reviews, Pam. I love that Ankleasaursus, I'll see if I can find it on Google. E will be up on Tuesday, possibly Wednesday, depending on pumps. I'm really enjoying the research for these animals, and learning a lot, too!
Have a lovely day, my friend, and stay safe. :)) Sending you a big hug, xx Sandra xxxx

You are very welcome, Sandra. Amazing that my brain goes back that far! I am enjoying the animals, too, as long as they're not creepy:)
-
I don't think there are any in my chosen animals that are creepy, some are very different that Eric will never have heard of. (I'd not heard of either!) xxxx
-
That sounds very interesting. I look forward to it!
-
I think you will know all the creatures, but hopefully, you will learn something new about them. I'm amazed at some of the things I'm finding out.
-
I imagine I will learn something new.

Hi Sandra. Another enjoyable read on the "D" for dinosaur. I like that you're using your husband's drawings to accompany your writing. Great job on both counts. I have been vegetarian for many years and much of the world's population is vegetarian. Hmmm! I wonder where that leaves us in the brain smarts department. I like the tidbit of info about some cultures thought the skeletons were those of giant humans. Marilyn

Hi Sandra, this is just another wonderful addition to your alphabet stories. I love Graham's picture. It is just too cute. What a great series you're writing here. Eric can learn, as so many other youngsters. I, for one, am learning something new, as well. I'm enjoying this a lot. Ulla xxx

Thank you so much, Ulla, for reading my letter D, I'm having fun learning about them, too. I hope Eric will enjoy them later. :)) Have you found it to be really quiet on here lately? I'm hardly getting any messages. It makes you a bit worried what with the virus. I hope you are keeping well and still staying a safe distance from your neighbours. Take care, my friend. xxx
-
Hi Sandra, I'm sure Eric will be delighted and find it very useful.
Yes, I have noticed it is quieter here. And it does make you wonder. I still hear from my regulars, but all of a sudden I get less reviews. It makes me worry. I'm safe here. We have no cases at all in my immediate area. We keep our distances, but being a small community we do talk. We are now allowed to work our land again. One at a time, but as I'm on my own it's no problem. You and Graham, stay safe! Ulla xxxx

It does make you wonder, doesn't it? I'm glad you and your village are fine. Take care, though. xx

Another cute poem backed up with some very interesting information. Just goes to show; big doesn't necessarily mean smart, but heh, we 'little' people will clutch at any straw. Congratulations to Graham again for his artistic input - there are so many people turning to art during lock down - maybe he could give some lessons on line! All good here in Glasgow, and I have nearly finished upholstering 6 dining chairs after I'd sanded and revarnished both them and the 6 ft table. It's left me with aching hands (the electric sander left everything covered with dust, even though it had a dust bag) but it was worth the effort. I'll send you a pic when it's finished!

You have been busy, I've been worried because I haven't seen you on line at all, so I'm glad you're fine and just busy, I don't mind you having sore hands for that reason!! lol. Thanks again, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

I like that you're picking more unusual animals for your book. Sometimes I even learn something I didn't know before. Your husband is a talented artist. Love the pictures.

Yeah! Dinosaurs! I love them and I'm sure your grandson will too, Sandra. I could have done dinosaur pictures... I've got videos too... you wouldn't think I could have videos of dinosaurs... but I do! LOL Austin and I were at Zoo de Granby in Granby, Canada and they had the dinosaur exhibit there at the time. It was awesome to go through. We did it a couple of times! I've got Austin in front of a T-Rex! LOL

I'm beginning to think you have pictures for every animal in the world, Susan! LOL!!! I'd like to see the video, I bet that's something to see. We have dinosaurs in our history museum in London, that's brilliant as well. Talk about something old, something new! A T-Rex and an Austin car together! LOL
you are so funny!!! :))
Thank you so much for another of your bright and cheerful reviews, Susan, you are one of my reviewers who always puts a smile on my face. Take care, my friend, and stay safe. :)) Sandra xx

Yeah, I'm telling you, that research on the fact that they evolved into birds... at least the smaller ones and such... is some fascinating stuff, my friend! Lost my nerdy brain in that one summer waaaaay back when I was still in grade/high school (before I was old enough to get a job!). :) A wonderful addition to the alpha-animals volume! ;) Thanx for sharing, Sandra! ;) Yvette

You wait, that nerdy stuff will come back. lol I'm doing things now I've not done for years. I think I've also gone back to my second childhood. Thank you, Yvette, for another fun review, I'm pleased you liked it. I'm off to bed now, so I'll say, goodnight, my friend. :)) Sandra xxx
