Great entry for the Ode 5-7-5 writing prompt contest. Good connection between lines. The presentation is nice.
One suggestion, to keep a smooth flow get rid of the period....

This is a cute entry for the Ode 5-7-5 writing. I used to catch tadpoles in the stream near home when I was a child. I liked watching the various stages of those I caught. I would carefully put them back so they could not die.

This is very short and sweet.
The art is a brilliant visual aide as well.
The best part about this poem is that it tells a story in few enough words to get a brief but fulfilling history of the subject matter. In this case, the cute little toad.
