Cherry blossoms are a symbol in the Orient of the beauty and transcience of life. And it is also a symbol of rejuvention - when the cherry trees bloom once again. Your sister will always live inside your heart - flowering forever in your memories. Thank you for sharing your lovely sentiments.

Three beautifully written stanzas full of past dolorous nostalgia. The absence-present missing that once was a good familiar company and advisor, today isn't anymore but people can't understand as Tagore said once after his wife's death: "People think that I feel alone. They don't understand that you are with me when we walk when I speak. We are always together. You are always, here with me!"You, too, dearest Marjon, are always speaking with your dear sister! I liked it all. Great work! Take care, dear friend, and blessings from Italy. Tony Sorry, I have no six left!

I loved it. I think you had a perfect melancholy to the tone here, and good drama in the rhythms of the language. The image of the body of your sister in these white flowers over your head, white as milk, creates this pure, innocent, spiritual sense of her. the body here becomes a tree, blossoming, and that is also a great transcendental image, an image of metamorphosis and the spirit transcending the physical. estory

the love we share together while on this earth for a blink of an eye is what keeps our loved ones who have passed on in our lives permanently. it is nice that you feel that others feel/see her presence as well. you must have very close friends and family which are all blessings

Hello, Marjon,
I think your sister died but her spirit still with you. Part of your description is like your sister is a ghost. Well done.

A beautiful poem to honor your sister. Your words are gentle and heartfelt. The feelings of family ties run deep and are difficult to transcend into writing. Thank you for sharing.
Blessings,

It is a terrible thing to lose a sister. Remembering her in the form of living colorful plants makes the hurt lessen somewhat. It is a nice tribute to a loved one.

Marjon, I'm sorry you lost your sister.
You've written a beautifully moving poem. The flowers are delicate and sweet. A very admirable and brave way of remembering your sister. (I'm sorry I ran out of six stars, or I would have given them to you for this poem. I believe in an afterlife, Marjon, and those who have suffered I think will have it that much nicer in Heaven. Have a blessed week.

I have lost one of my brothers to cancer, so I know how you feel. He's still firmly etched in my memory, in my mind. We lost him to cancer, I can remember him ringing, calm as you like announcing the sentence on his, I have similarly lost others the same way. Beautifully written Marjon, blessings, Roy
