This one I definitely understood, but I have a question. Do you need that comma after the word dark? I am not sure of it's purpose
Well done

THANKS FOR GOOD REVIEW.

I realized a long ago, in others as well as myself, that there's a constant battle between the light and darkness of which you speak. Therefore, those who seek light must test all those who profess they are harbingers of light, some could be dark. I believe true wisdom, light, comes when internal belief systems are dispelled and you become new in all the ways that matter. Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful poetry. I love it because each piece causes one to think and go inward. Peace!

I've read several of your posts and this one I get (almost). They're not really easily understood, even with pretty good reflection. Good luck in your book. Bill

Wow, my friend. Another great poem in Tanka form. You are the wise one with the insight into life's truths which you share with us. I love your opening line -Fools salute false light, This is so absolutely true - but fools will always be amongst us. Keep on writing, my friend
Cool bananas and warm regards

THANKS FOR YOUR EXCELLENT REVIEW.

An enjoyable reminder of wisdom and truth over the
fools world. Your picture choice of wisdom is
impressive and your message dramatically presented in so few words.

And the only true wisdom that has survived down through the ages is God's Word. Darkness has tried to hide Its light, but the Word will survive throughout eternity.

I like the 5-7-5-7-5 structure that you employ in this poem. Timeless wisdom overcomes false light and fake fables. You make use of amazing alliteration wit all the F's in the last line. Write on! -Steve

Exceptional tanka poem. I place into the Commentary / Philosophy or Religious category. Nice artwork. Well thought out and nicely written with vivid imagery. Wonderful.

Here, we have wisdom doing the "glowing," which I find to be as peculiar as the other piece that I've read. I'm no poet, which is probably why much of this is beyond my immediate comprehension.
Interesting, though.
