While much of your poetry I don't relate to, I do like these words: "timeless wisdom glows whole earth, fake fables fade, fall, faint fast" There is so much fake, fleeting "wisdom" today, flowing past like fads.

As I know wisdom is the ability to use your knowledge and experience to make good decisions and judgements. Unfortunately, many of my decisions taken at the spur of the moment were found to be lacking in wisdom.:):) As I grew older I think I became wiser.I enjoyed your cryptic lines. Thanks for sharing!

Well Al, I think the last line of this poem could occupy the whole of my review. It is quite alliterative, quite well written and punctuated and seemingly quite full of the wisdom we are all searching for. But looking at the poem as a whole, I would have to say my second favorite line would be line three: "sun shines silent still;" It is a strong image with strong metaphorical meaning, as well as alliteration. Altogether, a thought-provoking piece with much to appreciate and much to think about. Thanks for the opportunity to read it. MM

Hmm. Interesting take on darkness saluting false light as in false truths and rumors as well as gossip. Fake fables fading...hmm...I'm not sure if I could agree especially with a world dominated by religion. Perhaps, you could enlighten me here what is meant. I really appreciate your time. Cheers.

Very true sentiments. Perhaps will come the time when the world will be awash in radiating light that opens eyes and dispels those fake fables. For now, most stumble lost and blind. Nicely composed.

This poem is so beautiful. I love the style you used for it.
The alliterations were amazing. Using sun as truth, dark as fools,and fables as wisdom was so smart. Great job!
