This French Quatern is a heartwarming delight to read in these difficult times when children might be told to stay home instead of doing what that painting shows as normal summer play.
Favorite lines:
Lace gilded wing'lets flit 'n fly -- the repeating line.
as foot'lings dance 'pon twitching nose!
-- Only YOU would write a joyous line like this.
I can almost hear the girls' excited bursts of laughter as they run.
Superb, and splendidly illustrated.
Note: You do not need the apostrophe in either "winglets" or "footlings" because no letters are omitted.
