A very well-written diary entries about the confusion of a love that gives different signs and you cannot make out what her message is and you try to find out what as he feels.

What can I say about a poem that cuts through the silly cliches to give us genuine feelings. Not just looking at a leaf, but through it...not to dry the tears, but to cry them. Well said.

I like this poem of seeking more understanding of the beloved, and wanting to be more understood and romantically included in return. While sneakily looking at someone's diary is a hanging offence, it does reveal the inner life of the writer and their motivations. The poem's words hint at obsession, but not in an evil way, more like wanting a closer empathy.

Hello Sergeant Floyd,
This is a very lovely romantic poem with some very creative sensual words. I love how you use beautiful words to get to know her better. This is a an amazing line, "Why your lips have more flavor than brandy.
I could get drunk on apricot brandy?" The title is so fitting for your poem.
Alos, this is a delightful line, "I don't care if I'm poem or prose,
just read me all the same." The last line is the best line though. Nice work, Floyd. Thanks. Happy writing:-) Stay safe.

I've often wondered how God manages to know us inside and out, and yet allow us the sovereignty of self will, even though we are all conditioned and manipulated to think in a biased way. It takes a lot to change our collective minds. And yet this is what this fabulous poem is all about, if we could do what you say, would we allow self determination? A wonderful thought on your part. Great write, blessing, Roy

Interesting concept _ I want to read your diary not to dry your tears but cry them. This is so beautiful, thank you for sharing and good luck with your writings.

If these are all your words - which I assume they must be, this is really some poem! Different, beautiful, meaningful. Also, full of feeling and desire to be close to the object of his affection.
Very good.
