Jenintorre,
Who says powerful emotions are connected to long, large worded writings? Not this admirer of Lost in Time. I think the words that you used to illustrate the simplicity of emotion in the poems meaning was...wonderful!
All of the words/images you used would call up significance in just about any person who read them. Great job.

Congratulations on your prize! Missed this the first time--I play catch-up when results are announced. I like the structure and repetition like bullet points! Cheers. LIZ

Congratulations on your well-deserved win. Those words are so true, many a time I've heard something, or seen something that brings a sweet memory back and I do cry, too. Those few words said so much. Well done!! Sandra xx

The short format poetry can often have a most powerful impact as is the case here with this particular work - reminding the reader of the significant role of sensory memory - a worthy winner

Very nice poem! Congratulations on your win. :)
It's nice that you caught so much in so few words. Things that trigger memories are such a mystery. It can be anything, as you say In the poem.
Blessings, peace and health,
Deb

Hello Jen,
So true, over time we forget things that have happened in our lives. But, as you said, a song, a smell, and a story stimulates a memory of a situation. I love your last three words, "and I cry." You used a great title, "lost in time" and lovely imagery to share with your story. This is a very good 20 syllable poem, which you met the contest requiremen.
Good luck in the contest. Stay safe, healthy and safe. Happy writing:-)
