Oh my gosh! The build up and the punchline were just fantastic. This was an excellent little script and I actually laughed out loud. Such a good humor piece

I had a blast with this one! (I don't write the dialog--I conjure my characters and scramble to write as they spew their stuff. I'm invariably astounded by what comes out of their mouths.)

Wow, this is awesome Elizabeth. I can bet that I enjoyed every bit of the script, you wrote so well. Her mum must be very happy to hear the good news.
All the best dear.

Elizabeth:
As they say, truth is stranger than fiction. I've had
friends who have written great stories based on
real events in their lives - you just had to have
known them when to recognize the real things
from the fiction. Good luck in the contest.

This is so funny and well written. I feel like your cheerleader because I so like your writing. You are also your best editor. Didn't spot a single error.

This is delightful. I love the twist at the end!
I have had a few turnabouts at work too, where I thought I was going to be criticized and instead was praised (or at least not fired)!
Your writing makes very enjoyable reading!

That's the way to write, Elizabeth! Just let the characters take over, because they will. I am writing a mystery novel and you should hear how they carry on in my brain.

The author is great in the conversations of the script and the ending is both surprising and unexpected. I like it.
It was hard to accept doing something wrong but Charlene was honest to admit it to her mother. That is good.

As an RN I thought I'd heard it ALL! This is actually the first time I've opted to read a script ... I'm impressed with how easy this is to follow and how the theme (raw as it was) did not suffer from the format...which was always my fear. Maybe there's a sitcom to be written by you yet! --Karenina

Is that all I cried, she'd have to be the first nurse on record as being able to get a blood sample when drunk, when others made several attempts and failed. Very clever this script Liz, well done, blessings Roy

Really like your story!
It's funny; has a great, unpredictable ending and the dialogue rings very true. Most writers, I find, have the most trouble with the dialogue.
Yours rang true and the talk between she and her mother was pricelessly funny.
Your writing is
"un-effin-believable! Girl--you rule!" :)

Delighted by your compliment--and how cleverly you construed it. Stop by anytime! Cheers. LIZ

Good Evening!
Thank you for sharing this humorous piece of work! I loved it. You did such a great job writing it. It was easy to fall into the story and become interested in what was going to happen next.
