In my opinion, certainly a thought provoking write, penned defining our circumstance today and potential future - gift or curse, a lesson in futility, or not, it struck at the heart of this reader and reviewer. Isn't that what writing is supposed to do...

A well-done poem. Your message is excellent and clear. It is certainly a challenge to all of us and especially those elected political leaders who give some lip service to doing something but end up with nothing. I really like the sixth verse, good job.

No better time like now to make the necessary sacrifices towards a cleaner and safer mother Earth. The imagery therein was rich and made he minds of readers thinking along the mind of the poet. Well done.

Great message here. Why did you you change the rhyme scheme about halfway through? Mother Earth's fever was a clever way of depicting global warming.

Comment from Gloria ....
Well written, here with strong emotional appeal, an drawing in John Lennon's Imagine, is fine work.
It would be nice to revere life and the planet, and perhaps one day we will, if we can imagine.
Many thanks for sharing.

We can project all kinds of dreams'

This free verse poem flows well with its personification and metaphors.
It reminds us we are all the same and should use all our resources to clean up nature and our spiritual lives
Keep writing and stay healthy
Merry Christmas

The writer deposits many profound ideals for its reader to review and consider within their minds. Sincere conveyances thrusting images, capturing times and endured emotions. I found this to be a very touching read.

Beautiful! I love the way you have penned your poem. The word choice is excellent. I loved the second half of your poem ("the vile virus- humanity...). It is such a known concept but the way you have penned it is unique.
