I can smell the flowers as a read. This is a really pretty spring entry for this contest! I like the picture you chose as well. The writing flows nice. I read it out loud and it sounded nice! Good job!

Dear Cindy, my Easter Sunday dinner plans were changed because my friend Rachel who was doing the driving and cooking got sick with a sore throat., Hope it's not the beginning of Corona. Went to church for Adoration, I don't know if you know what that is - it's adoring the Holy Host in its white wafer form that Catholics and some other religions receive at Mass. I took my friend Rachel's hour and did my own hour, so I had 2 hours of quiet time with the Lord. Blessings to you too, Dove

I was raised in an Italian Catholic environment, and grade school teachings. I also follow the Pentecostal movement (some of which is embraced by Catholics). I remember the Adoration. I had quiet time with my dog on Easter and a FaceTime prayer group. I also kept in touch with my family that way. I?m glad you had a nice Easter too. I hope corona disappears as fast as it approached us. Stay well. and blessings.
