A very well-written 5-7-5 poem about the Titanic whose maiden voyage was also her last when tragic strikes on her journey and sinked to the ocean with many passengers.

This is a great addition to your book, Dove. Good job with the syllable count per line. The image is a good pairing, too. Your words are true although poignant. Thanks for sharing. Respectfully, Jan

Oh, this would have been a worthy contender, Dove -- it really is too bad that you didn't get it in on time! ;) Thanx for sharing your vision, though -- beautifully done!! ;) Yvette

Hi!
Good effort for what would have been a FanStory contest entry.
Another ship tragedy happened on NY's East River in warmer June(!) weather - check out on the internet the General Slocum Disaster, which happened 10+ years before. The fatality rate greatly exceeded the Titanic.
P.S. I too have used avmurray for artwork.

You have made excellent use of all of your syllables in this descriptive piece that sounds much ike a poetic newspaper headline. The last line
summarizes effectively.

Comment from Alcreator Litt Dear
Uncontrollable fate causes tragic disaster to the maiden voyager of the Titanic as if it was destined to be a historic voyage for the voyagers; well said, well done.
