Hi Alicia. I like your snapshot poem. Each vignette describes what we hope to accomplish with the photo. Like the snapshots, each description given is like a moment captured in time. Marilyn

A very well-written series of hay(na)ku as snap shots in words that describe a picture of certain events that we will usually takes a photo of to remember these moments.

What cool graphics you used to present your poem! I like how your poem notes all those milestones in life when we take so many photographs. But when we get old, will we take time to look at them all?

Hi Helen! Traditions carry on... They will with me if I ever find a good man to marry me and make a child or three. You're nice. You could always pass pics to the children and grandchildren. Thank you. God bless you :)

Hi Sunnilicious,

I can feel your poem you know. Unbelievably, it speaks to each and everyone of us, cos one way or the other, we'd all find ourselves celebrating the above mentioned events in your poem.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us.

Eno

Hi Joan! You're nice. It's a good form, words versus syllables and still under 21-syllables. Thank you. Hearts & hugs, Alicia (aka Sunnilicious)

We have many, many photos, over the years we have done much travelling and lots of family photos, not many from my youth, when I was a little boy, or from my teen years. A very clever collection of imagery, a sort of collage, well done, blessings Roy

This was fun to read and a great style to use to commemorate those special events if one isn't doing so already. I enjoyed reading you well-constructed poem. Your lines flow smoothly with great imagery. Thanks for sharing. Respectfully, Jan

My favorite part was, "childbirths
giving life
to right wrongs", because it portrays a life is given to make a positive difference in the world!

The Lord led me to this verse after I read this,

Philippians 1:6 English Standard Version (ESV)

6 And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.

Hi! I didn't write that stanza because of a holy quote. I wrote it because new parents commonly talk about being nothing like their parents with this new child. I appreciate the quote. Every person from any religion deserves the right to love, marriage and child. Thank you. God bless you :)
