Is it greed that you mean makes someone a devil? I think greed is a sad state of affairs for someone to be in, but I don't think that makes them a devil to want possessions. The true Devil wants souls, the ultimate greed. Thanks for sharing.

It's sad that we live in a "gimmee gimmee" society. Parents work hard to give their kids luxuries that we didn't have. That generation works hard to give their kids more than they had.
The next generation the kids are wanting more and more and the parents give in.
The next-generation demands more from their parents.
Wanting everything in the world without doing anything to earn it.

Wow..You capture the human condition very well in this chapter. Concord or balance? Indeed, we're as locusts feeding on all what we feast our eyes upon and move on without understanding that everything around us is simply being borrowed from our children. My first impact to grade the poem is the good taste to select font color reflection against the background color; they enhance the chimera of the gorgeous bubble. The poem is defined in the colorful air bubble: Things of a brief existence.
Ethic, moral, harmony=Balance. Therefore, why the Devils --of my human criteria-- should bother around the balance?
Devils is the most compacted and complete philosophy I've read from you, author-authority.
As I recall, poems like Devils do not require the rhyme melody to sound perfect when doing verses.

Very well versed. It portrays the truth. That is why sometimes many people who are good people get tempted to cross over and do bad things. It's just so good to be bad sometimes
