So many of our own Fanstorians and their families are caught up in this dreadful illness. We must keep the prayers up, we need God to help us in our hour of need. Your poem was lovely, Helen, and your author's notes are just so wonderful. Everyone, we need those prayers to continue. Well done, my friend. :) Sandra xx

Helen, this roundel prayer poem is so beautiful, so pleasant in its choice of words, yet so meaningful in its petitions for our dear families.
The "Generations" concept is an inspired one, and I love the image and the verse.
Thank you for writing and sharing this -- also for the note of gratitude for our recovery (Jorge and me); and especially, for remembering my mother's "safety and good care," which is so heavy on my heart these days. I love the way you remembered each of the other needs in your Notes, and I have prayed both your prayer and these needs in agreement with you, dear friend.

Thank you for praying with all of us here, Mary Kay! Thanking the Lord for you! We all have loved ones we worry about especially during these times. Hugs!
-
You're very welcome, Helen. I thank the Lord for you, as well.
It's the best thing we can do, these days. Praying, and bearing one another's burdens -- but this has always been the best thing we can do! Our stilled world just helps focus our attention a little more, if we let it. I remember that you told me your family is 3,000 miles away -- that must be very hard at times, especially now. May God cover them (and you) all with His protection!

Yes, my parents are in HI but my older daughter's family is only in the next state south. Hugs and prayers for you and yours!

Yes, your parents are indeed very far off. I'm glad the rest of your family is closer. Thank you so much, dear friend! - Mary Kay xoxo

I'm awed by powerful prayer warriors like you on this site. I know the Lord is hearing us as He promised where two or more are gathered...
Appreciate you! Hugs!

I like this considerate and compassionate heart cry that resonates from the words that you've penned here. He sees and hears every prayer and every tear that's shed. This is good work Helen and I enjoyed reading this inspirational and well written work. Well done!

I was trying to remember all our nurses here - I know Alie is one (aryr) and there's at least one other, but I can't remember who it is at the moment. grrrr... Please keep your list handy -I'll be coming back to it. TY!

Never mind. I copied it all down.
BTW, someone told me yesterday or the day before that you and I write similarly -- I was kinda surprised by that. What's your thoughts? Curious.

This roundel, Generations, follows the basic format and reminds us to take stock of all those whom we know and love and are in potential danger along with everyone else. Prayers out o all who have had to deal with the virus.

Yes, Helen... know that even though we can't be there ourselves, He can be there and all of the generations of ours... our particular ancestors will be with us, watching over us too... :)

What a beautiful read with genuine concern in these words, yes we do have the lost and unreachable to worry about, my Mother is thousands of miles away and quite old and frail and travel restrictions won't allow for me to visit-very worrying, an excellent read and thank you for sharing, stay well and stay safe****kahpot

Thank you, Kahpot! You were one I was thinking of when I wrote the poem! May the Lord keep you and your family and your mom so far away, all completely safe and healthy!

Families everywhere should be loving especially to their bloodlines; near or far. God is a great way to stay connected, but a call once in a while isn't so horrible either. Nice work. God bless you :)
