Thank you for this beautiful prayer.
I'm in a nursing home, and they are taking very good care of us and also finding creative ways for interaction with each other

Thank you, Darlene, for your beautiful and generous six-star review of my prayer. I appreciate that you spent some time with it. It's so good to know that in a nursing home, you're getting good care and the right kind of help during these difficult times. May God bless you and continue to keep you safe, along with the other residents and staff at your facility, as well as your family.

Mary Kay it appears we both feel called to prayer during this pandemic. Your prayer was well thought and expressed, obviously the work of someone who is in the habit of prayer.

Yes, Darlene, I believe many of us are called to prayer these days. I'm not in a nursing home, but I'm living at home on Disability, and have been for over a decade. Those of us who don't have a regular job, can still work for Him! As long as we're alive, we have a great opportunity here, but these desperate times point us all so much more to our need of God, and how we must also pray for those who don't. Of course I am also blessed to be able to write, as I'm sure you are, too, but prayer is what we need most of all -- and what is needed.
I'm so encouraged to hear that they're taking good care of you in the nursing home. My Mom has a very severe disability because of her back (age-related), and is presently being cared for in her home. She really needs 24-hour care, but has resisted it because of the high cost. She dreads going into a nursing home, because she was recently in a rehab facility for 3 months and felt neglected there.
She has a nursing home picked out, in case she has to go (while she still has some resources left), but is afraid she will be neglected there, as she was at the rehab. It's good to know that it doesn't always have to be that way -- especially in these difficult times. May God continue to bless you and keep you safe. - Mary Kay xoxo

This needs to bepublished in every newspaper and all over the country. Our prayers for so many things - and you've covered them well. Thank you giving God the glory due Him. He is in control. He loves and bestows mercy, not wishing that any should perish. we're praying a lot for esp. three grandchildren who deny God exists. May God be praised and honored across this land.

Thank you for sharing this wonderful piece of work! I really enjoy the way that this is framed as a desperate address in tough times. The use of 'we' at the beginning of each line is equally very powerful! Well done!

This is beautifully penned, my friend. To this:

We pray for the children and teenagers who don't fully understand the restrictions placed upon us during these strange times. (I would add dogs). I have a service dog and she is a bit confused by the change in routine. Plus we moved in February.

Thank you for sharing this, my friend~Debbie

Thank you very much, Debbie, for your excellent and thoughtful review. Yes, I can imagine that service dogs and some other animals might be confused by some of the changes in routine. And wow, moving is challenging enough! It must be really tough to adjust to a new place and then have to be there so much of the time; also having to adjust to a new area that you can't go out into very much. God bless you, your sweet doggy and all your loved ones. May He keep you safe.

This is so beautiful and I'm so so sorry for the loss of your friend. It's strange, I have no fear of death myself, but when I lose people I love, I completely fall apart and do not handle it well at all. I admire those people that can carry that pain with grace. Your writing is beautiful and I don't feel anything Has been left out. You mentioned my group. I work at a nursing home, we have no cases so far due to extreme diligence and the grace of God. I don't go anywhere else ever because I'm so afraid of bringing it in. In New York State alone, where I live, thousands of nursing home residents have already died. I will pray for Tessie, I will pray for you, and I will pray for our world. Thank you for this beautiful writing.

Thank you so much, dear Therese -- for your prayers, your condolences, lovely comments and the exceptional six-star review.
Wow, you work in a nursing home! You have my tremendous respect and I will be praying for you and your residents.
I live in New York State also -- in NYC. Yes, we're getting hit very hard. Our government dropped the ball in the beginning, now we're trying to protect people, but it's also a lot of damage control. It's terrible when political agendas get in the way. I hope they don't ease the restrictions too quickly.
Thank you so deeply for your agreement in prayer, in means a great deal to me! God bless you, my friend, and may He keep you and your family safe, healthy and strong, in Jesus' Name, Amen!

Mary Kay,
Your prayers are so touching to my heart. I am so glad you and your husband came through having the COVID-19. God is so gracious. Also, I am so deeply sorry for the loss of your friend. Love, you prayed for everyone and many things. It's an awesome prayer for anyone to be refreshed and blessed. Now, I want to pray for you. Lord bless Mary Kay and her family with your love, grace, and mercy. She is your child and loves you very much. Keep her safe as she does your work. Thank you, Father. Thank you for taking the time to bless so many with your prayers. Psalms 51:17 is a wonderful scripture. This was a prayer for all of us. Good job. Happy writing:-)
