I pray for this passion in writing - for the conviction that my words may make a difference to someone - give hope - demonstrate that God is in control and that He loves us.
good poem

A most intuitive and profoundly relay of comparisons and contrasts
on creativity and reminder how key and influential the role of
passion and our emotions play in every aspect of the creative
endeavor, whether in personal avocations, or overall effects of
a whole panorama of life and livings contingencies and commitments.
A most astounding write, truly appreciated, thanks for sharing.
Best wishes always,
Ronni

I enjoyed this chapter of your book, written with passion as it artfully describes passion...a state that is lacking these days, as we all stiffly get through each stifled day locked inside. But, we can read poetry such as this and feel freed. We can WRITE poetry like this (maybe lol) and feel released. Yes, passion needs to fuel our days, rather than apathy and acceptance. Thank you for sharing such art, and such passion, with us today!

The author's words are joyous, interesting and creative. I enjoyed
the read of this poem. I pondered on the passion it takes to write
and how it gives us the drive to write more. The poem flows and
connects well. Hope you are doing well. Happy Easter!.....Maria

I'm so glad you enjoyed reading this, Maria. I think poets, especially, have a lot of passion because there is a great need to express all aspects of life. Thank you so much for your lovely review! --Janet
Comment from Sandra du Plessis
A very well-written poem about finding passion in everything we like to do or otherwise it is no point in wasting time to do it when we have no passion for doing it.

Thank you for reading this and sharing your thoughts, Sandra. It's sad to think that some people have practically given up on life, especially when there is so much to appreciate. They need to be reading your morning poems...that would cheer them up and help them want to do positive things. Stay safe!

What a wonderful idea, Janet. Your poem is written well and I like your idea. Creativity has no bounds. I am an artist and like the medium of collage. Best of luck with your book. I see this is the Introduction. Marilyn

I'm very happy that you like this idea, Marilyn. It's exciting to know that you actually work on real collage projects and not just virtual ones. I hope you like the chapters I'll be posting. One thing with physical collages is the texture factor that isn't available when a replication is viewed on a computer screen. I'm hoping that readers will have active imaginations. lol Thank you so much for this lovely review. Smiles, Janet

We have quite a few artists here on the site, Janet. I think several also post on FanArt, too. Marilyn

Outstanding poetry Janet. I like the lilt-like sound of it all especially these lines of course:
"For the poet, it is manifested in written lines
sharing the universal essence of a person's
heart and soul."
Great writing my friend. Bless you and take care. :) Bob

Artist, composer, poet - all are indeed fueled by passion from their own persepctives. And that is what makes each of their creations unique. Whether or not anyone else appreciates, understands or likes the piece matters not. It is important only that you express your feelings through your art - fulfilling your dreams.

I understand exactly what you've saying and agree completely. The creative force within an artist needs to find an outlet, even if we are the only one ever to be aware of the experience of fulfilling it in a way that brings a smile to our faces upon completion. Thank you greatly for this lovely review.

Free verse and Japanese poetry are my favorite. I write a lot of classic and contemporary haiku but I love tanka too. It's all imagistic poetry. I like, introduction, I will have to check your other chapters. Well done!
