Thank you for your notes and wise reference to the Sanskrit phrase. Let us hope that a positive outcome of this pandemic will be to embrace that we are a "nuclear family" and to fight climate change together! Best wishes in the contest- Joan

Idk what India has to do with the pandemic, besides being in it too. You presented yourself well. Convincing. You thought this out well. Creatively. Nice work.

Hope you're having a Good Friday. Happy Easter Weekend :)

RP,

I am a little confused. It sounds like all this is something you believe in, yet you are labeling this as fiction. So that means you really DON'T believe that Mother Nature would actively take a role in punishing her children?

See what I mean? I'm just a little confused about where the fact/fiction line is. Help.

Thanks and good luck!

    Hello Robyn Corum,
Thank you very much for reading and reviewing this piece of work. It's much appreciated.
Now I come to your 02 Points, and try to remove your confusion:
1st, A good mother ALWAYS loves her children, but punishes too if they are found doing something wrong, and this step she has to take for their betterment, to bring them onto the RIGHT track.
2nd, There is VERY thin / delicate line between Fact and Fiction; FACT is TRUTH while FICTION is UNTRUTH / untruth COATED truth.
    Please ponder it.
You have raised a NICE / Philosophical Question. I like it.
    With best wishes,

An interesting proposal you have put forth about the problems in today's world and thier possible consequences/ solutions.

I enjoyed the read.

What an interesting and thought provoking post. One good thing that's come out of all this is that pollution is down. Maybe that will slow global warming a wee bit. Well, when this virus passes, people will get back to polluting and fighting, etc. Hugs, Lou

What a perfect message for our times. The Earth has certainly been patient with us and the abuse we have plagued her with. Now it is time to remind us of what is important. So well said. Thank you for sharing.

The Corona Virus will be gone, but not soon enough. I hope that is gone soon, but the health department has to say that it's sure. Excellent work! Good luck in the contest!

Interesting irony that Mother Nature has had to separate us in order to bring us together.
Consider defining Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam in the text. consider cutting "hence" and "all" and "had to" to make room for "We are one family."
Good luck in the contest.

When the CEO of World Vision, a world wide charity organisation, retired, he said the greatest evil in the world today was nationalism, it divides rather than unites common goals. I can remember hearing the idiomatic saying, ".The world is my country" and loved that, I agree with him. The bible has a scripture, it applied to Abraham, promised Canaan land as a nomadic father of faith, said "I'm a stranger in a strange land." Of course it took several hundred years before the Hebrews finally took Canaan as their home. Well done RP, Blessings, Roy
