I enjoyed our gnome poem. I think it is a good entry for the contest. It was humorous and had a light-hearted, childlike quality about it and it flowed well. I wish you well.

This is a very cute poem. I'm sure children would enjoy having this read to them. A few of the words might have to explained to five year old but that the way the learn. Good job.

I found it a bit distracting that you used some punctuation but not all.
See, Marvin he's the dinner guy>> See, Marvin(,) he's the dinner guy
Now, Marv, he's got a cousin, Jake,>>Now, Marv, he's got a cousin, Jake(.) I think a period is more appropriate to prevent a run on, although there are no periods, so... lol Also with the othe rname followed by a comma.
Love 'snatch-watch'!
Cuz some things should be between buds
Like our secret handshake>> the rhythm felt off in there two lines.
Love the revelation at the end that the narrator is 5! What an imagination. )
This is cute, for sure. The lack of any punctuation except commas was super distracting for me but the story and rhym was great. :
Best in the contest and stay safe.

This is really neat and creative. A well written story poem. Although I'm not a fan on gnomes I writing is clearly evident of a well presented and polished piece. I like the format and colours you chose to help it stand out. The images are well described and vivid.

It sounds like a movie waiting to be made. It reminded me a lot of Toy Story. I loved it and I can see kids loving it. You could even do a little series or childrens books from these.
