Oh, Linda, it is so good to hear from you. Your eyes?? Are you still in Florida? We are in total lock down here in California, so I have no excuse not to write. Please stay healthy and safe. Hi sweet girl, I had to have some eye surgery...they were giving me some pain...but they are better...yes I am still here helping my brother with my mom...she's 90 now...and she failing in so many way...I miss you on here as well...please stay safe...and take care...it'd not real bad here...but people around us have gotten it...my son and both his kids...Shane 13...had it bad...and my granddaughter 16 as well...but all are better now...and they weren't sick long...it will pass...big hugs and love ...xxoo

Very nice picture! It complements the poem well! I sounded out illumination surprised that it had five syllables! lol It is a wonderful use for the word though! Wish you the best and good luck with the contest!

I know I checked out the syllable count twice, and with my editor (my husband). It does have 5, and really haiku doesn't really need to be 5/7/5. Long story - haiku is ever changing. None the less, thank you for the review.
