Yes, God calls us to carry each other's burdens. Excellent prayer that speaks to the reader and reminds the reader how important prayer is. I hope those who have Covid recover.

Oh, thank you, Elaine, for going the this old post. You probably know people here I don't know so please add a chapter when you would like others to be praying. Hugs!

Beautiful, heartfelt poem about another person and family affected by this illness. You wrote this in a lovely way, asking for help and grace from God, and asking for prayers from the FanStory family. Gorgeous image also.

You are so right, we need to support and care for one another. This virus is scary and even more so when it touches someone we know.
Your verse is a beautiful pray for help from above and the rescue and comfort for one of own.

Yes, we can all feel overwhelmed with the news everyday and the death toll. We can focus on God and healing instead. Thanks for reviewing and please thank your brothers and sister for all the work they do! Hugs!

I join you in prayer for the healing of Portia's eldest son. Your poem is a beautiful expression of love and faith. May God hear our prayers and heal him completely, restoring him to full health with abundant life. Amen.

Thank you so much, Mary Kay! I'm so glad that the Lord healed you and are back to pray with us for our Fanstory family. Portia had some very serious health issues and she returned to Fanstory recently which is an answer to prayer! Hugs!

I am so sorry another FanStorian is dealing with Covid19 in their family--I was relieved it wasn't your child. I admired your prayerful, rhymed quatrains and your willingness to share the burden. Take good care of yourself- Joan

Dear Helen this poem is one of the most beautiful prayers I have heard in a long time
I think it is the poetic rhyming in it , that makes it so.
I particularly appreciated your authors notes about the different greek words for the word 'burdens.'

Joining with you in prayer for our dear Portia and her son. It is difficult to see those we love suffer so. So many are suffering right in this moment which sickness, job losses, and discouragement. My entire family is out of work except for my youngest son who works for a vaccine manufacturing company. This comes back with prayers for you all.

This is another wonderful posting, Helen. Someone I know died on Friday from the virus. It is disheartening. Please stay safe yourself...take all the precautions. You are a very precious member of FanStory! xoxo

You're precious, too! We all are to the Lord! I'm so sorry about the person you know. We get death numbers daily in our state but I wish they'd tell us how many have recovered! Thank you for reviewing, Janet! Hugs!

I know the heavens are very busy these days. Overload of prayers for our loved ones and our fellow man. I think the good lord is a bit peeved at us since we have drifted so far off of Heaven's path. We must carry on and let Him know there are those among us who care. Well done, Helen. Nancy:)
