Your poem is so correct in it's message and assessment. As you say we lose something, we then learn about our moral and ethic shortcomings. Our leaders seem to be immune to these lessons creating no accountability. We have become a nation of greedy whoremongers, while the ordinary citizens suffers. Well done,,,,,,,,Jim

A very personal, dark and intense piece that clearly conveys your individual thoughts on what is so about your life and how you filter it. Well written and there is an intensiveness about it I enjoy. Seems to me that to fully understand or glean from it, one would need to read the series as a whole.

Interesting look at no matter what we as people are taught, the leaders can say or do anything, make their own rules, pay themselves huge money while the people starve and suffer...a wonder that our society can survive at all...
