There are rules in life that we are expected to follow.
Leaders feel that because of their position in life they are free to change the rules to fit the situation.

To Alcreator Litt Dear,
A poem that describes the elusive and demented areas of the government that seem to think you need to fight war with war instead of seeking the peace and communication through the Spirit; therefore allotting perspective and respect to all lands.

Excellent poem and much easier to understand than many of your others. I heard a clear voice and message within which could apply to any or ALL countries.
Our leaders expect to see our moral compass, yet can't sail their own moral ships...
VERY WELL DONE and credit where credit is due. A well earned fiver...the format while still quite choppy, still delivers a concerned message.
Cheers P

When I lose something,
You teach me ethics, morals,
What about leaders?
Lose our nation, race, country,
Yield to foreign terrorists!
Good points here. Ordinary people obey the rules. Leaders abandon rules for their own desires.

This is an incredibly simplistic meter with a very deep message. You use space and language so well. Great work on this one. It's a timely message.

The message is powerful and profound. The writer puts the mind of the reader to work. This piece grabs the readers attention with the title but holds it with the words.

You are so right Al, no joking about it. The world must understand this to get along.

I think this poem gives an excellent point of view. Citizens are expected to tow the line, but leaders are able to bend the rules to their liking. It seems the less moral character, the easier to get into positions of power. So, what does this say about the citizens of a country that allows such as this?

Isn't that the truth. It's all over the news each and every day. Well written. Good tanka poetry format followed. Creative idea for a political poem. Great!
