You my dear Y.M. may be a mathematician, but you have a definite command of the language. This is a very cute offering. you have captured expertly the more touching side of parent child relationships. Those things that when you count your blessings you number them high on the list. Well done. (my word count is a little higher:( )

You sly devil--This is clever--just my kind of humor. Can't believe I'm being paid for such entertainment. Oh, the sweet innocence of youth--up to about age five nowadays. Same as your stars. Cheers. LIZ

Thank you for your review! :) My apologies for running so late, LIZ -- the light is in sight (i.e., they've canceled final exams and I just have to get through the lessons through the end of the month and few days in May - ugh!)... ;) :)
You take care out there!! ;) Yvette

I really like this. I know that idle hands and minds can get into so much, both good and naughty. I enjoyed reading this humorous and well written work. Well done!

I hope daddy was pulling weeds around the yard. Very illustrated story. Creative, but could be more exact with details. Good narration. Good dialogue. God bless you :)

She's not taking any chance of being sent outdoors to be busy. That is so cute. That was a surprise to her mother. lol. It's funny how children think on things.

Adorable picture.

Hello, Author, this is really sweet! I love the image and the notion of the little girl at the table taking her mother's words so literally... as children are wont to do. My son has Asperger's and I always had to be careful with that, he took things completely literally... that could lead to problems if I wasn't careful with my wording sometimes! :) Teasing was also another thing that was a thing that couldn't be done for a long time... I can remember how long it took before he understood that it was funny to call someone something like, "monkey face"... it didn't really mean you had a face like a monkey. lol
