What a lovely idea. Our Mother Mary is always there for us. Thank you for making this post which is illustrated well and needed in this dire time for all of us. Marilyn

The book was Helen's idea, not mine. I just piggybacked to gather people who would join a prayer chain that I became involved in.

Hail Mary, full of grace,
the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou amongst women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Thank you so much.

Your prayer reads well with great empathy. I like the image you chose to add to it. I believe in the power of prayer. Thanks for sharing. Respectfully, Jan

It isn't my prayer, it comes from the Catholic Church. I merely used Helen's book idea to gather support for our prayer chain.

I appreciate the fact that we are united in prayer here. I will say the Hail Mary prayer as it is written in the Bible when Mary greeted Elizabeth. We are all believers in Jesus Christ. Thank you for sharing. I am not on
Facebook so I have no other way of sharing however.

Thank you for joining with us as far as you feel able to.

I am glad to have hit this prayer at the beginning so I can follow your progress. I'm a bit of a drag when it comes to passing things along so I'll simply watch this grow and admire from afar.

I don't think anything much will happen here, it's a tiny part of something far huger, and we hope that in it's full splendour it will perform a miracle.

Hi Katherine, I'm going to appreciate the attempt to bring me into your Hail Mary chain, but I'm not Catholic. I've never said one and I'm not likely to start for any reason now. I hope you understand... virus notwithstanding... stay well! :)

I have no answer to this comment, other than that I don't think it is in it's right place here.

Thank you for starting a prayer chain. I've done the same by creating a book of prayers. Many of us are Protestants so do not have specific prayers but maybe you could write about that prayer in the book? We're joining with you in prayer!

I am also a protestant, but am surrounded by (French-speaking) catholics. God does not distinguish. I manage to say the Hail Mary in French, but I will find the text in English and add it to the "chapter" I just posted I can't really write about the prayer, you will see it's self-explanatory.
