Very apt indeed! I muse about how you sat there and came up with such a great Pun-derstorm? Some people are blessed with wit. It seems you are one of them. Good luck in the contest.

Thank you!

Oh, my, a real laugh-out-loud pun at the end, but with a lovely story to boot. And also, for some reason, it also made me picture a lioness tearing apart coupons for Burger King for future use. Great s alliteration in 'stripes nor smoothness' in line 1. Cool art choice. I am impressed by this contest entry.

Tear-along the lion, is to me unusual for a lions name. I thought the other cats might be faster. Then I re-read the contest name, Punder storm. Makes complete sense now! Blessings to you and Good Luck in the contest.

This poem, Aptly Named, mixes the meanings of the two descriptions of the cat in question. I see the speed and dotted line mashup which is a quaint and humorous observation.

Yes and when you want separation; you tear along the dotted line.....
Thanks for the great review. Just trying to meet the "pun" requirement.

Very creative!
It took me a moment on that last line but that's not the poem's fault (I can be a little dense, sometimes).
Great job - short and enjoyable

When you wrote this poem, was it asking for pun words? I have questions when writing this kind of style....like your image and the words were captivating.
