Wow! Love your honesty. I remember when Annette Funicello was diagnosed with MS. Also, another celebrity, who hosted a game show, I believe. Can't remember the name. Both of them went on doggedly until death took them out of misery.
I love your writing style and your uniquid metaphor which lighten up the piece, briefly.
EX:The oracle spoke ominously of the fate that awaited my daughter--its dire findings being conveyed to her at two in the morning by four masked men who gathered round her bed. Lauren, having just dozed off, was thus disoriented when the white-clad alien quartet approached to inform her of four lesions found on her spinal cord.
That's an awesome picture.
Sorry I don't have any sixers left.

Shari--thanks for stopping by with the gift of your wonderful words. My daughter is alive, alas, not well--despite looking healthy. She's on meds to slow progression--has been holding steady since, but 7 years of damage were already done. Cheers. LIZ

I am so sorry for both you and your daughter Lauren. Suffering Multiple Sclerosis is a hard burden to bear. Lauren was smart to continue with her schooling until she graduated. I am proud of her!
Has Lauren taken ozanimod? https://medicalxpress.com/news/2020-03-fda-ozanimod-multiple-sclerosis.html

I'll pray for her.

Instead of looking at the fear, look at the struggle your daughter endured for one last hope. Think about what may come out of her trials. Hope for someone else. What a wonderfully written story. My prayers are with you.
Have a great day and God bless.

I'm going to give you my last six stars. I find that MS is an ongoing crucial problem. Now that you told us your story, I hope that MS has done further research. It sounds that heaven gained an angel but I'm hoping I'm wrong.

Rosemary--thanks for stopping by, with a bonus gift! More important are your wonderful words. You are wrong re the angel; my daughter is alive, alas, not well--despite looking healthy. She's on meds to slow progression--has been holding steady since, but 7 years of damage were already done. Cheers. LIZ
