Absolutely wonderful.. rhyme scheme is well put.. it's clear and simple it's 34 syllables and has the most truthful line of all "poetry comes from the heart" amen... Congrats

We have to feel what we're writing. If we don't feel what we're writing then it's impossible for the reader to connect. I think this is something we can all relate to.

What a wonderful explanation of how a poem is created. Yes, we follow rules that form the guidelines of our poetry, but it is the feeling and emotion that brings the poem to life. I love that you were able to incorporate rhyme and meter. Since your words are so obviously heartfelt, you're offering proof of how heart and structure can come together to form a beautiful poem. This is very true that writing poetry with all its rules is hard because poetry comes from the heart. Thoughts and feelings are not in rhymes, but must be reworded.
