This says so much, and we can see it so many things, not just in our daily lives but in what we do on FanStory too. How much Greed is like vanity. They are closely related I think. What is it we crave and how useful is it in the long run. What's the point? Greed, vanity and pride. Deadly sins.

A good moral poem was a hard read, but I only think because of how the words had to be placed in order to enter the contest.

There is a curious juxtaposition between your selected (calm,serene) image and the rather jarring rant about greed! I am trying to absorb the deeper meaning...but it is just beyond my reach!

Greed is something everyone has encoutered at any point of his/her life. They say the more you gain, the more you wish to gain. How ironical but the truth! Let's stay away from greed and we shall be happy...

I know your poetry and knowledge far exceeds mine so I give you the five stars. As for greed, yes all mankind has that pocket of "want" and feels it is a "need" which they are mistaken in the eyes of our Lord. I am confused by your chosen artwork though. the ocean is so peaceful and calm... not a fitting resemblance of greed. Smiles, Carol
