Nicely done. Fresh and vivid imagery. Elegant indeed. I like the picture of stars transporting lights to "ghostly distant" trees. Creative image. And the blue-hued--color goes with ghostly distant. Cheers. LIZ

What a wonderful art choice to accompany a poem that is pulls together the distant and the near for our visual pleasure. I like the assonance of "far stars" which is a swift, engaging beginning that brings us into your poetic world.

You've written an excellent 2-10-2 poem for the contest
with wonderful imagery of the starlight and trees.
I like the double rhyme of the two word last line
Yes, starlight changes everything in many ways.
Great choice of picture to match your words.
