I like a challenge and hope I have found the hidden word. Is it "trust?" Well, it is a good word for today, even if I guessed wrong. Thank you for this fun poem. I have read that God will not always wink at sin, so I also want to be good. At least as much as I'm able. Shame is a powerful deterrent.

Yep - I've certainly been there! I 'wink' at the day and the plans I've made, planning to accomplish or gain, yet just winking it away. lol.
I feel the poem!

One time I wrote a review that said I was really challenged to understand her poem. She replied that if you are a really good poet, no one should have to struggle to understand your work. I'll let it go as that.
