Whimsical--we need a light touch these days. Clever idea--do you realize you gave us a bonus: all four lines rhyme in the last verse! Some of the rhythm and rhymes seem forced re flow and word choice. Overall effect is cheerful and amusing. Do you have music to this. Adorable pic too! Cheers. LIZ

I was captivated by the story of the missing shoe. As each verse and then the chorus told of the shoe, I realized the mystery of its missing would not be revealed--it is the 'Blues' after all. Good writing--made me smile. Luck with the contest.
