Very creative Pharp. This piece definitely made me smile . Was very impressed with how you could create this bluesy little song about a man losing his shoe. Thought the line " I'll be on you like mildew" was funny. Well done with this poem.

#1, I Love The Blues. #2, I Love Your Blues. I've been down that road of missing a shoe. Thanks for the memory. Well versed. This will inspire me to finish a song I was working on regarding shoes. What fun lyrics... I did indeed have a chuckle at the dilemma of the lost shoe - it is enough to make one hopping mad! I chuckled at some of the rhymes too - most unexpected to have shoe rhyme with mildew.

I am so familiar with your situation, I could call you "sole sister". At my age, but that's another issue. Anyway, fun to read and most easy to relate.
My advice: Buy cheap shoes so replacement is not painful.

I guess you'll just have to buy new shoes, and keep them away from that puppy. Come to think of it, puppies leave plenty of evidence. Wonder what happened to it. I've heard of Smurfs stealing socks to use as sleeping bags, but not shoes. Guess it will remain a mystery. Thanks for the smile. Good luck in the contest.
