These four perfectly well written and beautifully, rhymed structural stanzas, well describes with its simplicity, throughout its pure, religious praying narrative storyline content what the infirm virus is causing Worldwide, and keep hoping in fate, and praying at home notwithstanding the ups and downs of this spreading terrible pestilence. Great work! I like the whole poem.

Thank you, Alchera. I appreciate your comments and review of my poem. Your country is in bad shape with the virus, isn't it? I hope you stay safe.
I appreciate your six-star rating.

What a wonderful message and excellent read, if I may ask in the first line of the last stanza- does the word (for) need to be there as for me this interrupted the great flow of this poem, best wishes for your contest****kahpot

Kahpot,
I appreciate your comments and suggestion. I struggled to strengthen the last stanza, but it is better now because it doesn't ask if God did this, it acknowledges His divine orchestra over our lives and world.
What God has given us today -- what do you think?
Thank you for your help.

Your well-written, moving poem is very timely in its theme and tone. We
must pray fervently and ask for spiritual discernment during this crisis.
Praying that He'll take away the virus is, of course, perfectly all right.

I love the message conveyed in this. I have my thoughts about the origin of this virus and how they have it contained now and yet it's spreading like wildfire everywhere else. I hope that they find a vaccine for it, but, my hope isn't in that. I've been near death on many occasions and I've called upon that name that's above every name, Jesus and He delivered me every time. Those of us in the household of faith need not cower back at this like those without hope. He hasn't left us hopeless and bereft. When Daniel was thrown in the lion's den, the Lord was there. When the three Hebrew children were thrown in the fiery furnace, the Lord was there. He was there for them, He's right here for us now. Thanks for sharing this inspirational and well written work. Well done!

I enjoyed reading your contest entry. Your rhymes are great, the imagery is easily seen, and your message is loud and clear. The image is fitting owing to what we hear on the news and see first hand in the stores. Thanks for sharing and best wishes. Respectfully, Jan

Mystery Poet,
So much truth in this poem you have penned my friend. God is giving us a chance to opening our eyes to the truth of His word. All knowing God sees and knows all. Many still have blinders on and cannot see what the Spirit is saying to all. There is still hope that many will turn to Christ during this time. Thanks for sharing.
Blessings...Portia

We need to find something to rely and put our fears in. We might as look to God for comfort and hope. You did a great job with this. Something everyone is struggling with for sure. Great job and stay healthy

AVMurray has a prolific amount of art on this site and all are beautiful.
The poem is profound in its outspoken focus. We should be pondering at this time, the meaning of such devastation. No one is mentioning that perhaps God has withdrawn his hand.

If I had a six I would give it to you for this lovely rhyming poem. You set it off very nicely with the coloring and your roll of TP. Good luck in the contest. May God bless you and yours. Shirley
