Do these imps look like a devil or resemble a devil? Whatever happen to the gnomes that are so cute? I think your story has only one gnome. Wow, your story has so much imagination....these creatures are something to be seen.

Ha! "Pesky" was the word, wasn't it! I wonder what was in the spray can, that Sir Archie sprayed so liberally, but which Constantine was so fond of and attached to? Maybe his favorite cologne? And why was Archie licking it? So many questions!

So, the imps were just let out of the drawer after a long while! Should have expected unruly behavior. Just testing their limits and getting exercise.
Maybe Archie had some old scores to settle :)
"Archie drenched the little guy, and it (he) dropped straight to the ground."
"struggling leaf" "unoiled hinge" --good use of metaphors.

Of course they will. I was concerned about the reaction Nicolas might have with the spray on his face, but it seemed it was harmless to humans, even when it got the attention of the imps so well. Nice!

You are so awesome, Beth!! THANK YOU!! I know your hands are full these days as are mine (for different reasons!), but this craziness has to end soon (or I might go crazy before you!). Everything I do has been (is being) converted to online... see? High School students can't afford to lose ground so we're plowing forward with YouTube and more... but what a hassle!! ;) Just give me a good ole fashion classroom anyday!! ;) You take care and I promise we'll be laughing at this some day!! ;) Yvette :)

Oh, I am so very glad you enjoyed this latest episode in Nicholas' story, and I would love to have your support: the greatest thing about fantasy is that age has no bearing on its enjoyment, yes?!! ;) You make me smile just knowing you are out there, my lady!! ;) :)
Also, I do so apologize for the tardiness of this response, I have been (still am!) in the midst of converting everything to online learning for the mandated school closings for the foreseeable future. Once I get ?ahead? in this ?change of venues? (i.e., instruction in cyberspace ? lol!), I promise to be back to ?me? in my responses? you know, the crazy blonde fantasy chick! ;) ;)
Take care of you and we?ll be sailing smoothly again in a few more days? hopefully!

That must mean a great deal of work for you. I imagine it's very hard to come from a place you can feel free to expand your mind into a rigid mind set that is so controlled. At the moment I see you surrounded by bars and I am frantically baking you a cake with a hacksaw in it. Oh I hope I haven't depressed you, I'm sure you take great delight in what you do :) Here in Scotland I am "Self Isolating" by order of good old Boris. Luckily for me I adore being at home. I spent over two years housebound waiting for a back opp. Four steel pins later I am up and about again, but I do miss the Morphine :) Take care of you.
