Hello, my friend,
Nice entry for the 5/7/5 nature contest. Beautiful presentation and good syllable count. You connected lines grammatically facilitating flow. Well done!

I think this is a good entry for the 5-7-5 Nature writing prompt.
This short verse tells of a forest being renewed.
Well done and I wish you good luck with the contest.

Nature has a way of renewing life each season. The cycle automatically continues regardless of what man does. And the first floor is a perfect example of new life sprouting beneath last year's leaves. Great entry for the contest.

Mayhap so, mayhap no... I guess it depends on where your forest is and how the winds blow. Will it be dry there do you know? Will the Santa Anna Winds there, blow? Will all that dry out and fall prey to a lightning bolt? Or will the trees and plants be allowed to grow? I guess there's only one sure way to know... ;)

Best of luck in the contest with this interesting write. Nature has a way of keeping itself going even in the harshest of circumstances. Even fire of a forest prompts new growth in a very short time. Marilyn

I love the photo you choose to go with your poem, they are a perfect match. You captured my attention from the first line to the last children love to play that nursery any time.

A very well-written 5-7-5 nature poem about the fallen leaves on the forest floor from all the years before begins this year's nutrition for new growth in Spring.

Nature is a wondrous things. It creates from it's death. It is reborn over and over again if we only let it alone to do what it was meant to do.
This is a great nature poem. Good luck in the contest.
