I like seeing that art is where I find it. Nobody can define that for me. Great piece. The reader has to think about your words and look into the piece to see what's there. I like the complimentary colors. Your quick short words leave a sense of excitement and urgency. Almost leaving me feel like I have something I have to hurry up and see or hurry up and figure out so I'm not left behind. I liked it. It invoked a physiological response as well as phsychological. Good work.

Just like the art critics, the critics on here may see the poet's work in a different light than others would. Writing is like art in that it can inspire others just the same as a famous painting can. Mona Lisa has been the subject of many commercials, and critics since it was painted. Your tanka is perfect with the syllables and brings out the work of an artist in writing. V.A.

Art. A complexity of imagination, feelings and the raw enengy spent and exhausting, invited relief upon completion. Few view art with intensity. Most say beautiful artwork and limit their vocabulary due to the strong, sometimes simple undertaking of reading art. Fast on track to view the many exhibits, the engulfing flavor of the artist's brush discarded to the unearned pride conveyed as they speak of their enlightening experience at the gallery. I am sorry, but this one doesn't get to me at all. Last night I read some senyus that were so delightful.
This is to me just a collection of syllables.
I spent quite a time trying to pick out some pieces of sense.
Sorry - but cannot find too much to rave about this one.

Now what I believe you are saying, it could be art of any from (especially poetry we know this is a special art for one to portray ones thoughts on paper. Some folks reads a poem and doesn't understand the meaning and goes to other pieces of art and don't have to sit and ponder upon. All poetry has a meaning for all to learn especially your beautiful piece "Artist"
