We all interpret art differently and I think that the Artist meant that to be. I wonder if it matters what the artist is trying to say....it's how you perceive it that counts. Thanks for sharing. :)

Artist!

Nice free verse about this and that and how we exist in our own world of illusions. A very unique poem and interesting wording.

'Artist!', is an extremely well-written and delightfully descriptive piece. Penned with craft and skill, it was a privilege to read and review this writer's work.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Both paintings are perfect the way they are. Might you be saying that all art starts out raw and as they are added to they start to show more uniqueness?

I enjoyed your comparison here in the way in which different people view artistic works. I have often noticed the same in public art galleries. It takes time to fully appreciate and absorb the meaning of a work of art. I thought your description 'water words' most apposite for the kind of 'wise' drivel one often hears spouted!

Damn this one is very good. Such truth in it. What I enjoy about your stuff is that it is short but offers much. I look foward to reading more

Hello again. I began to follow your interesting works here. This one reminds me of Picasso's quote on "Art is a lie that makes us realize the truth." I couldn't make out your use of "Dark Heaven" Is it because somewhere perhaps just one spot in the artwork, there is one tiny piece of what Heaven might look like? You have me thinking now. Cheers.

Brilliant and so incredibly truthful.
My world is surrounded by artists and art. Some of them are quite wise. My humble adoration extended to you, sir.

Appreciating art takes contemplation that looks beyond the pigment. The same is true for the written word of poets and most especially the word of God.
