Ok this is good, but a little difficult for me to understand. I didn't get the second to last line, but if you don't want to understand I understand. Kind of mind melting, which I think was your objective. I'm in the not wise category then? did you mean Heaven's words?

This was nice, but I didn't feel anything when I read this. I is likely just ME. I gathered that you put some real work into this, but It just didn't grab me.

Very expressive tanka, Alcreator Writer, I enjoyed being submerged for a minute in the rawness of art. I pictured going through an art gallery of pure abstracts in lickety-split fashion with your poem.
Yes, some people view art by evaluating color alone, and not the â??soulâ?? of the painting or drawing. Best to linger at the gallery and â??feelâ?? the painting as the artist intended.

Superb! How daringly you expressed the truth one can easily relate and feel, really great. The world knows about Monalisa the famous painting, how a fool can feel, realize or appreciate the value, essence, message, thoughts etc in an art or job. A wise, true lover, dedicated artist or painter, an author or writer whatever, only a wise can think of hard labour, dedication, commitment, creativity, art, message etc in a work but fools always rush in where the Angels fear to tread. Fools do review instantly without bothering the time and feeling invested in the work. Only a wise can review wisely discovering the truths. Great thoughts, flair in expression and overall an exceptional Tanka. I wish it an All Time Best at this site.

True of painting, sculpture, music... and writing. Raw embodies the spirit... helps emphasise the enthusiasm of the artist... obviates our efforts. This is delightful in its presentation. A thoroughly enjoyable poem.

Very good choice of words in this piece. I like the "raw" word, such connotations when used with "art". Inspired and powerful in the images evoked. This really worked as a piece. Meter was good as well Cyndee :-)

Hi, my name is rivki and this is an excellent poem that is very vividly desk top published in that bright green....nice.
I liked the poem itself, it made me think of the timelessness of art and how we need to be able to feel and create in the moment for the next generation...to pass on the truth of creation....out to lunch?? Probably, but it moved me, so that means its a fiver....bye for now, rivki

Artist!-I have to agree all artist no matter what the talent should be are strange characters indeed. The tanka is excellent and from the message that I am getting is of fools rushing in, Sometimes is can not be helped under different circumstances, I thought this write deserved the rate, Ron
