Life in those times was harsh, and most of the times family where break apart by losing family members to the attacks of the Indians, harsh weather or diseases. It's remarkable how this young mom has rise from the ashes to protect her son. She buried her husband and decided to move on for the sake of the child. Thank you for sharing and good luck with your writings.

I would definitely read this book. Excellent start. Would love to read more. Keep the good stuff coming. Maybe use less slang words, otherwise I love it.
