Hello Laura,
I surely can empathize with the keen emotions that you share in your poem = from the need to have something that belonged to my mother, to the feelings that I still have for my sisters although we no longer speak...
If I were to offer any suggestions, it would be to delete "I cried my eyes out" = cliche, and the reader truly knows you are sorrowful from all of the other visual and emotive imagery you share.

A lovely tribute to your mother. She will never leave you. She's in your heart. Our mothers (I would say 99%) are amazing and deserve all the accolades we can give them. They carried us pre-birth and after birth, they were always there when needed.

Your poem is very touching; I am very sorry for your loss, which is heartbreaking. Your Mom's green jacket is so full of memories, reflected in your beautiful poem. She would love that you're now sharing it with your sister; maybe it will be a step in growing closer (all moms want that for their children).

You captured my attention from the start the way you spoke about your mother the love for her will never died
giving your sister your mother jacket brought you and your sister closer together

I remember holding on to my mother's shirts after she died because they still smelled like her.
