This 2-4-2, 2-4-2s Again?, has the right set up and asks the $64000 question. The answer is, of course, more people write and read the postage stamp poems, so they are encouraged. Yours, with its humorous cynicism, may win.

At first read, I thought of the game of craps, but with your notes I recognize your cute genius. You selected a great photograph to accompany your short verse.
Actually, I do think 5-7-5 are hard to effectively achieve, but for the foreseeable future that is my poem format. Occasionally, I drop down to 2-4-2. LOL

Lol. Yeah, we all do. It just seems there's way too many of these little contests that don't require a whole lot of thinking. It takes a skill to say a lot in so few syllables but it seems those syllables keep dwindling down over time. Haha. I really appreciate the review and generous stars, Mark.
