Wow, action flying left and right in this chapter. Mac and Logan seem to have synchronous impulses as if they're a long time team. I really like that! This is another enjoyable, well-written chapter, Barbara.
Congrats on getting your novel published. I do remember the story very well, especially the more mystical and Native American aspects. It's a great story.

Funny chapter and the detectives are human too, they need food, sleep and entertainment. Is kind of scary when people are sleeping in your drinks drugs and are trying to follow you. Let's see what's up shall we? Pls next chapter fast:)
